We Love Local

Since this week I’ve challenged my fellow writers (and you readers too) to shop locally this week, it seems a good moment to mention a brilliant site – We Love Local.
In order to help people to find good local shops, restaurants and businesses. We Love Local have set up a great site with reviews and ratings of local independent shops. One thing I have to say for it, in contrast with so many online shop/restaurant review sites, is that the quality of the reviews is actually consistently good. People seem to write on there as if they were recommending places to their friends.
They have recently expanded to cover the UK, having begun in London, but need a lot more reviews posting before they become a truly useful resource, so I’d urge you to visit and say your bit to promote your favourite local shops and businesses. They deserve it.

Oh my,
Thank you so much for you kind and lovely words about welovelocal.com. It really means loads to us to hear people saying that they enjoy using the site to help them find local businesses (just what the site was intended for). We do need more reviews – lets hope people feel inspired by your kind words – the more the merrier!
