Penelope’s picnic at The Small ObjectCheck out these cute new doll kits, on sale at The Small Object from tomorrow. All-in craft kits like this are so much fun - they take a lot of preparation time and effort out so you can just get on and make. These include the supplies and instructions you need to create a poseable Penelope doll, complete with a tiny picnic, and are the first in a series. I can’t wait to see what other doll kits come next.

I know it’s not long since I mentioned Sarah’s wonderful work, but I like these so much, I thought some of you might do too.

Talking of picnics, roll on spring weather! I am so tired of rain and cold.

Stacked fabric Christmas trees by Sarah at the Small Object

One of my favourite craftspeople, Sarah Neuberger of The Small Object, has just posted a template and tutorial for the most wonderful little Christmas trees. They look fairly simple to make but oh so adorable in the pretty fabrics she has chosen. This is just one of lots of inspired ideas for handmade gitfts and decorations on her blog, and whilst you are visiting you should really check out all the lovely things in her shop.

With all the amazing Christmas craft projects popping up on so many of the blogs I read, I guess the pressure is on for me to share some of what I have been doing. I promise to do so soon!
