Sorry I have been a bit quiet on here recently. Blame an exciting new job I started a couple of weeks ago. And blame the weather, which is so drab and uninspiring. Last year I had an Easter tea party, sat out in the garden drinking Pimms with my friends, in our short shorts and summer dresses. This Easter we spent peering out of the window at snow falling wetly down. Hurry up spring!

Anyhow, isn’t this cute? It’s the artwork on one of the children’s clothing patterns just launched by Oliver + S. The clothing patterns themselves are lovely, and I love love love the paper dolls they have on the packets.

I am a fan of hand drawn lettering in general, and I really love this
series of spam one-liners by London based illustrator Linzie Hunter.

12 different prints from the series are available to buy at Thumbtack Press priced $24.99-$34.99
There’s just a few left of the limitied edition print at 20×200, from just $20.

At those prices it is tempting to snap up several to hang together. Also worth checking out is Linzie’s other freelance illustration work over at her Drawger blog. Her style is bright, witty and cutely vintage influenced, and often features great lettering.
