The kits Joelle posted about are such a good idea, they reminded me that I got this book for Christmas. Although it doesn’t come with the fabrics the ideas inside The Cute Book truly are very sweet and unusual, including a pattern for a city gentleman in his suit. I think they’re mainly designed for hand sewing, mind, and I’m currently up to my ears in a tangle of machine-stitched scraps!
The Cute Book is by Aranzi Aronzo.

Check out these cute new doll kits, on sale at The Small Object from tomorrow. All-in craft kits like this are so much fun - they take a lot of preparation time and effort out so you can just get on and make. These include the supplies and instructions you need to create a poseable Penelope doll, complete with a tiny picnic, and are the first in a series. I can’t wait to see what other doll kits come next.
I know it’s not long since I mentioned Sarah’s wonderful work, but I like these so much, I thought some of you might do too.
Talking of picnics, roll on spring weather! I am so tired of rain and cold.
