Pumpkin bumpkin

For the past couple of years, whenever I’ve started getting excited about autumn, I’ve also been excited about pumpkins. What’s not to love? Just the word makes me feel squishy. Then there’s pumpkin soup, pumpkin and roasted vegetables, pumpkin risotto… Last year, I made pumpkin pie. It was wobbly, so I couldn’t eat it (have I told you all about my wobbly food aversion? Icky, icky, yuck), but my New Yorker friend Jen went mental for it. Something that definitely doesn’t wobble is wool, so what could be better than this pattern for knitted pumpkins? The felted wool looks so autumnal and inviting – just don’t take a bite!

I can’t wait to carve pumpkins again. I might do a death star this year!

Awww! they are so cute!
In Sainsbury’s they have mini pumpkins called munchkins and they are adorable, who ever thought that a vegetable would be adorable! I’d have one and keep it if it didn’t off!
