Christmas Soiree Conundrum

Hmm. I am headed back to England for December 25th, but before I’ve had some friends pencil in a date for a Christmas soiree at my place. The trouble is, what do I do? Do I buy a small, stylish Christmas tree, quirkily decorate it, and serve some mince pies and mulled wine? Or do I give in to my melodramatic urge to go all Dickensian and roast a turkey, handmake stuffing from scratch, freeze some snow in my freezer and generally go all out?
I think I may already know the answer to this one…
