Cactisuses and the mystery seedling

big cactusWe be growing baby cacti (or cactisuses, as my Mr. prefers to call them)! Twenty teeny tiny little cacti that are destined to become this year’s Christmas presents. The cactus pictured above (Frank) is getting ginormous compared to the rest of them – it’s like Hagrid; maybe I should change its name.

There’s also a mystery seedling that we’re sure must be a cactus, but it looks so different to the rest of them that we’re intrigued – when will it start looking like a cactus? If anyone has crazy cacti knowledge and can shed any light on this wee mystery, please let me know!

    The seedling looks suspiciously like a poppy … although many things look alike in the baby stage. I can’t wait to hear what it is. :)
