And just in time for Christmas! Oh, wait.

My Penguin, aside from conjuring a gives-me-the-fuzzies image, is a super new range of Penguin Classics with blank covers for you to decorate as you choose.

There’s only a relatively small choice of titles at the moment, but it’s a good little selection including a fair few of my favourites (Alice, Dracula, Dorian Gray – I think my degree is now sufficiently distant that I can finally re-read them without instinctively panicking about deadlines).

I really like this idea, and I’m quite tempted to pick one up and do a bit of Victorian-inspired mixed media stuff – maybe a bit of freestyle drawing/embroidery. With fake jewels. And googly eyes.

OK, not the googly eyes. They can go back to the bottom of my craft box. But one day I’ll find a use for them.

I do love this series. Penguin are always very exciting and innovative.

I would be worried that I’d mess up, though, so I’m going to refrain…

    Oooh, this is very exciting!

That’s so exciting. I must have the Dracula one! I wonder if they ship to America?

  4. Kerry Says:

If not, I’ll happily post one to you.

    Ooh nice! I want!

These are great! Neal doesn’t get it though. I secretly hope I don’t see these in the shops or I will be forced to buy…

For those who also like to create their own content, also cool are bare books (http://www.barebooks.com/books.htm)

Muji also do some wonderfully satisfyingly paperback book sized & shaped completely blank books.
